Do you know that Kroger has a program called "Kroger Community Rewards Program"? Kroger gives out $1,250,000 each quarter to participating organizations. The money must be used for charitable purposes within the communities that Kroger serves.

Trinity United Methodist Church has enrolled in this program. We will be using the funds from this program to finance the Love INC Personal Needs Closet. Items like diapers, toilet paper, or maybe things like cold medicine that a client might need and we do not already have in the closet can be purchased with these funds.

If you are not presently participating in the rewards program, will you please consider adding Trinity United Methodist church to your rewards card?

It is easy to do. All you need is your Kroger Plus card and you can sign up online at www.KrogerCommunityRewards.com and then go to member enrollment. Your card will be activated between 7 - 10 days. Not all items in your grocery cart will count towards this program. Exempt are items like tobacco, postage stamps, any kind of gift cards.

If you need help in getting set up, we will have something arranged in the near future to either do it for you or walk you through the process on one of the computers at church. Kroger is giving this money away each quarter. It only takes a little of your time to sign up.

Last quarter we earned $119.70. Thanks to the people that signed up.
