Due to the Covid virus, the Laughs & Crafts ladies have not been meeting but working from home.
The next meeting date will be announced when available.

The Laughs & Crafts ladies have been busy this year. We have taken many lap robes, afghans, hats, scarves and gloves to care facilities in the Mansfield area. Many of the hats and scarves have been given to the homeless as they left the care facilities. Baby blankets and other layette items were delivered to Richland Pregnancy Center in Mansfield and donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Akron, Ohio. We have taken lap robes, afghans and shirt protectors to our local Hospice.

We were especially blessed to hear of one lady who received one of our shawls and when she passed away her family placed her shawl with her. It was very touching to hear that many of these items would be given as Christmas gifts to those who have very little family.

We will continue to make scarves and hats for the care packages sent to our college students each Valentine Day.

You are welcome to join us every other Tuesday from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in the Library for laughter and crafting.  Laughs & Crafts is not meeting currently due to social distancing requirements. We will let you know when we begin meeting together again!

We can continue to work on hats, scarves, mittens, baby items and lap robes while in our homes!
