At the Parsonage

Tracts and Treats Tract: A brief pamphlet that sets out the gospel message.
Gospel: The teachings of Jesus Christ and the story of His life.

Many of the families in our neighborhood look forward to stopping at Trinity's parsonage for Tracts and Treats on Trick-or-Treat night. Many of those in our congregation look forward to seeing our neighbors and serving them some treats. We invite you to take part in the fun! We will let you know the date as soon as it is published.

Last year the children really enjoyed catching the candy and novelties that came out of the "Candy Tubes," so we will be doing that again this year.

I am delighted to be able to tell you that once again Jerry and Jackie Cline's son, Mike Cline, owner of EZ Meals, has offered to provide 300 hot dogs, buns, and bags of chips for this neighborhood outreach. Jerry offered once again to do all the grilling, but we could use some help getting all the hot dogs wrapped up quickly in foil and placed in coolers to keep them warm.

If you would like to help with this ministry, contact Melanie Reynolds so she can be assured someone will make up the 5-gallon jugs of hot cocoa and we have plenty of servers prior to that evening. We welcome you to use your creativity and carve pumpkins similar to the one above to set on the tables. We will place battery lights inside.

Please join me in praying those who stop for refreshment will receive food for their bodies and souls; that they will see the light shining in the dark night through our Trinity family members; and that they will be touched by God and be filled with a desire to worship Him, whether at Trinity or another place of Christian worship.

In His Service,
Trinity's Children Ministry Team
